A reclaimed horseshoe mounted heels up, with a forged J hook drawn down out of the toe. The shoe is the backplate and the hook does the work: a coat, a hat, a halter, a lantern. It is about as honest a hook as there is. Hand forged by N.J. Pawley in Cody, Wyoming and finished in hot linseed oil. The shoe did real work before this and each one came off a different horse, so the nail holes, the creases and the wear are never the same twice. Mounts through the nail holes.
