Fee Schedule
Ranch Route, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company
This Fee Schedule describes the fees associated with selling products through the Ranch Route marketplace platform. By accepting the Producer Agreement, you agree to the fees described in this schedule.
Marketplace Commission
Ranch Route charges a marketplace commission on every completed transaction made through the Platform, taken out of the sale before payout.
Products sold through Ranch Route checkout (food and non-food alike): 5% of the product price
Experiences booked through Ranch Route: 8% of the booking
Sales a Producer makes on their own website or in person, including listings that link out to the Producer's own site, carry no Ranch Route commission.
The current rates are always shown in your dashboard under Finance and next to the price when you list an item. Any change to a commission rate constitutes a material fee change and requires renewed acceptance through the Platform before it applies to a Producer.
Payment Processing Fees
Payment processing is handled by third-party processors (currently Stripe). Because the Producer is the seller on each charge, standard card processing fees are deducted from the Producer's side of every sale, food and non-food alike.
Typical processing fee: 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction
These fees are set by the payment processor and may change at the processor's discretion. Ranch Route passes these through at cost and does not add a markup.
Listing Fees and Partner Plans
Ranch Route does not charge listing fees or account setup fees. Every Producer may hold a profile on the free Storyteller plan with no card and no commitment.
Every plan may list and sell products through Ranch Route checkout at the commission above. The free Storyteller plan holds up to 10 products; Homestead and Operator are unlimited and add profile links, featured placement, operations tools and visibility:
Storyteller: free
Homestead: $10 per month
Operator: $25 per month
Links to a Producer's own website, online store and social accounts are shown on a profile only while the Producer holds a Homestead or Operator plan. Selling through Ranch Route checkout requires a connected Stripe account in the Producer's name, which is where every sale is paid out.
Plans bill monthly through Stripe, may be changed or cancelled at any time from the dashboard, and end at the close of the billing period on cancellation. The current plans and what each includes are always shown on the Pricing page and under Your Plan in the dashboard. Plan fees are separate from, and in addition to, the marketplace commission and payment processing fees described above.
Chargeback and Dispute Fees
Chargebacks, payment disputes, and associated processing fees are passed through to the Producer at processor cost where the chargeback is attributable to the Producer.
Ranch Route may deduct these amounts from current or future disbursements. Producers are responsible for responding to disputes in a timely manner.
Notice of Fee Changes
Ranch Route will provide at least 30 days notice before any fee change takes effect.
A material fee increase applies to a Producer only after renewed acceptance through the Platform.
If a Producer does not accept the updated fees, the Producer may close their account. Continued listing of products after the effective date constitutes acceptance of non-material changes.
Reserves and Withholding
Ranch Route may establish and maintain rolling reserves on Producer payouts to protect against financial risk including chargebacks, disputes, and refunds. Reserves may be held for up to 180 days after the last transaction.
Ranch Route may delay or withhold payouts when reasonably necessary to investigate disputes, potential fraud, or regulatory concerns.
Payout Schedule
Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect to the Producer's connected bank account. Stripe's standard payout timing applies.
Producers are responsible for maintaining accurate banking information in their Stripe account.
