Buyer Terms of Purchase

v4.0Effective Date: July 13, 2026

Ranch Route, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company

These Buyer Terms govern your use of the Ranch Route platform including the Ranch Route Market, Partner Store, and Story Board. Ranch Route connects buyers directly with independent farms, ranches, homesteads, and producers. By using Ranch Route you agree to these terms. For the full legal terms, see our Terms of Service.

1

You Buy From the Producer, Not Ranch Route

All purchases are made directly with the independent farm or producer who created the listing. Ranch Route is a marketplace platform. The seller of every product is the independent farm or producer, not Ranch Route.

When you reserve a product or contact a seller, you are engaging directly with that producer.

2

How Payments Work

Cart purchases on Ranch Route are processed securely through our payment partner Stripe, with funds going to the producer. Ranch Route may collect a marketplace service fee as described in our Terms of Service.

Reservations, contact arrangements, and purchases made on a producer's own website are paid directly to the producer outside the Platform. Refunds for cart purchases are handled according to the producer's policy.

3

Seller Fulfillment Is Not Guaranteed by Ranch Route

If a seller does not fulfill an order, your recourse is directly with the seller. Ranch Route cannot:

  • Issue refunds on behalf of a seller
  • Guarantee that a seller will deliver as promised
  • Enforce seller obligations beyond removing them from the Platform
4

We Do Not Inspect or Certify Farms

Ranch Route does not inspect farms, verify certifications beyond what sellers self-report, or guarantee product safety, quality, or regulatory compliance. Any certification badges or claims displayed on a listing reflect what the seller has reported to us.

Always verify certifications directly with the seller before purchasing.

5

Your Responsibilities as a Buyer

  • Understand and agree to the seller's pickup, delivery, and payment terms before committing to a purchase.
  • Verify food safety practices, processing methods, and certifications directly with the seller.
  • Store, handle, and prepare all food products safely after receiving them.
  • Provide accurate contact and delivery information to sellers.
  • Comply with all applicable laws regarding the products you purchase.
6

Food Safety: Inherent Risks

All food purchases from small farms and independent producers carry inherent risks. You are responsible for verifying food safety practices directly with your seller before purchase.

7

Limitation of Our Liability

Ranch Route's total liability to any buyer for any claim shall not exceed $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, data loss, or personal injury arising from your use of the Platform or any transaction.

For the full limitation of liability, see our Terms of Service.
