A forged ring on a swept arm up top with a J hook underneath, both on one hammered backplate. The ring takes a hat by the crown so the brim keeps its shape, and the hook below catches the coat that goes with it. This is the narrow plate version, 2 inches by 6, for trim and tighter spots where the wider plate will not sit. Hand forged by N.J. Pawley in Cody, Wyoming and finished in linseed oil. The plate edges are hammered one at a time, so the dimpling and the set of the ring are different on every one. Part of the Cody Iron Works collection.
