About this product

A long swept arm with the tip turned up, set over a J hook on a hammered backplate. The arm is made to take a hat by the brim so the crown keeps its shape and the brim does not flatten out, and the hook below holds the coat that goes with it. Put one by the door and a hat has somewhere to live besides the kitchen table. Hand forged by N.J. Pawley at Cody Iron Works in Cody, Wyoming, and finished in hot linseed oil. The backplate edges are hammered one at a time and the arm is drawn and swept by hand, so the curve and the dimpling are a little different on every one. The arm stands out about 8 inches and it mounts with three screws. Screws are not included. Part of the Cody Iron Works collection.
