A horseshoe drawn out into a curved blade, with the original nail holes left in the handle and the outer arc ground and polished to an edge. A shop knife, a marking knife, or a letter opener that means it. It comes with no sheath, because it lives on the bench. Forged by N.J. Pawley at Cody Iron Works in Cody, Wyoming, and finished in hot linseed oil. Each shoe is reclaimed and came off a different horse, so the nail holes and the wear are never the same twice.
