A hammered backplate with a longhorn head forged at the top and a rod drawn out below into a ring. The horns are the hangers, so a hat or a bridle sits on it without any fuss. It is the kind of thing that ends up by a barn door. Forged by N.J. Pawley at Cody Iron Works in Cody, Wyoming, and finished in hot linseed oil. Each shoe is reclaimed and came off a different horse, so the nail holes and the wear are never the same twice.
