Two reclaimed horseshoes brought together into a heart, with one heel drawn out and turned up into a hook. It reads as a keepsake and works as a real hook, which is a hard thing to pull off. People hang them by a back door for keys and dog leads, in a mudroom for coats, or give them as a wedding or anniversary piece. Forged by N.J. Pawley at Cody Iron Works in Cody, Wyoming, and finished in hot linseed oil. The shoes are reclaimed and each one came off a different horse, so the nail holes, the wear at the toe and the set of the heels are never the same twice. About 7.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall, standing out about 2.5 inches, mounting with two screws. Screws are not included. Part of the Cody Iron Works collection. Made by N.J. in his one man shop, sold by Ranch Route here on Ranch Route: you check out with us and we get it to you. Free shipping is included in the price. The full Cody Iron Works selection is on his partner page, along with the story of the forge.
