A hammered backplate with a rod drawn out and turned into a full ring, and a second hook below it. The ring takes a towel or a lead rope; the lower hook takes a hat or a jacket. Two ways to hang something, one piece of iron. Forged by N.J. Pawley at Cody Iron Works in Cody, Wyoming, and finished in hot linseed oil. Each shoe is reclaimed and came off a different horse, so the nail holes and the wear are never the same twice.
